Bandos Victory in the 10th Inter Resort Volleyball Tournament

On Wednesday, the 17th of June 2009, the 10th Inter Resort Volleyball Tournament Finals took place on Bandos Island Resort & Spa. The two competing teams which participated were Bandos Island Resort & Spa and Coco Palm Boduhithi Resort. The match itself was fast paced and extremely nerve wrecking. Bandos was in the lead by winning the first two sets, but then Coco Palm swiftly fought back by winning the third set. The score was 2-1, and in the fourth set, the Bandos Team led the resort to victory by winning, and becoming a champion for three consecutive years.

The Inter Resort Volleyball Tournament is a prestigious annual event, which is organised by the Voleyball Association. A total of six resorts participated in the competition.
