Easter Celebrations in Bandos Island Resort & Spa 2010

Easter Celebrations started on Thursday, the 1st of April 2010. Families headed over to the Sundowners Deck for a Kids Egg Painting Contest, where they indulged in an explosion of creativity to make Easter Eggs which were displayed at the Reception area until Sunday.

On Sunday, there was a contest to pick the best painted eggs. On the 2nd of April, kids aged 3-12, got on stage at the Sand Bar and demonstrated a variety of entertaining dances and short stories at the Kids Talent Show. There were several more events such as the Easter Card Making Contest, Fun Ride around the island and Kids Dance Party, where they got to dance with a Bugs Bunny and Big Bird from Sesame Street!

The highlight of the week however, had to be the Kids Easter Party. This was on the 4th of April, Easter Sunday and there were several families at the Kids Playground. Parents also joined in on the festivities. Energy levels were high, as four parents played tug-of-war against a group of kids... And lost 4 times! :)
