11th Inter Resort Volleyball Tournament 2010

It's that time of the year and the volleyball games have kicked off with the 11th Inter Resort Zone Championship which started on the 10th of June 2010. There are a total of 8 Teams in this competition- Bandos Island Resort & Spa, Meeru Island Resort, Coco Palm Boduhithi, Kurumba Maldives, One & Only Reethi Rah, Banyan Tree, Club Med and Full Moon Resort.

The Bandos Team started of with a pre-game rally in the staff area, where staff were invited to join in on the festivities and join together in team spirit. T-shirts were distributed to supporters and a lively night ensued. The Bandos Team went up against Meeru Island Resort and won their first match. This is hopefully a good sign of things to come. :) The finals will be played on the 22nd of June 2010.
