2. How can I get to Maldives?
You can fly to Maldives and arrive at our Male’ International Airport. Several scheduled and charter flights operate direct to the Maldives on a regular basis. Flights originate from Austria, France, Germany, Holland, India, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, U.A.E. and the UK.
3. How do I get to Bandos from the Male' International Airport?
From Male’ International Airport you will be received by Bandos Airport Representative who will guide you to your Speedboat transfer.
4. How far is Bandos from the Male' International Airport?
Bandos is located 7 kilometres away from the Male’ International Airport. It is a 15 minute breathtaking ride to reach the island by your speedboat transfer where you will get to see the spectacular views of the Maldives.
5. What are the accommodation types available in Bandos?
We have 103 Standard Rooms, 48 Deluxe Rooms, 24 Garden Villas, 48 Jacuzzi Beach Villas and 2 Water Villas available in Bandos.
6. What is the maximum occupancy per room?
We can accommodate 3 adults or 2 adult plus 1 child (extra bed/crib) in Standard Rooms, Garden Villas and Jacuzzi Beach Villas. Our more spacious Deluxe Rooms and Water Villas can accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 children (2 extra beds/crib).
7. What in-room facilities are available?
All rooms are air-conditioned and include attached bathroom, hot/cold water, sitting area, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, IDD telephone, cable TV, hair dryer, adapter, double bed or single beds and electornic safe.
8. Is there a safe in the rooms at Bandos?
Yes, every room has a hidden electornic safe.
9. Is internet access available in rooms?
No. Our 2 lobbies are Wi-Fi zones and we also have a Business Centre.

Yes. We have our Business Centre and the 2 lobbies in the Reception area are Wi-Fi zones.

13. Do you have a Dive School on Bandos? How is the diving at Bandos?
Our own dive centre; Dive Bandos is a fully equipped centre with professional multilingual staff. We offer a large array of diving opportunities for both beginners and qualified divers.
Situated in North Male’ Atoll, we are minutes away from some truly amazing dive sites. Our house reef is known to be the best in the North Male’ Atoll.
14. Will I be able to see Manta rays, Dolphins, Turtles, Whale sharks during my stay?
There are many opportunities to visit a variety of different dive sites during your stay with us. Mantas, silver jack, yellow snapper, grouper, trigger fish, banner fish, oriental sweet lips, black tip reef shark, turtles, napoleon wrasses, fusiliers, surgeon fish and eagle rays are common ones found on our house reef together with schools of common fish swimming around. The best time to see manta rays in the North Malé Atoll is from January to April. We conduct trips to see the seasonal creatures as well as to other dive sites close by.
15. What are the spa facilities available in Bandos?
The Anggerik Spa is the sanctuary for senses itself. The beautiful garden shines and the water sparkles under the sun while private resort spa serves your senses in the spectacular treatment rooms it has. You can pre-book or book after arrival.
16. What are the recreational activities on the island?
Our health and fitness centre, the Paradise Club, offers tennis, squash, badminton, pool, table football, table tennis and there is a free of charge sauna and steam room. The club lounge offers books and TV while the club pool is just the place for a rest after some exercise in the club gymnasium.
17. What excursions are done in Bandos?
Our dolphin cruise, night fishing with a beach BBQ (at Kuda Bandos) and a private sand bank picnic are not to be missed. Other excursions include snorkelling trips to nearby sites, full day and half day island hopping, Male' tour and submarine dives.
18. What are the dining facilities available on Bandos?
Our Gallery Restaurant is well-known for its marvelous meals served buffet style. We have 3 other food outlets which includes our 24 hour Sea Breeze Cafe' serving a la carte menu, Sundowners Bar which serves seafood, snacks specialties and dinner under the stars. Our Harbour Restaurant is for fine dining.
19. Do you cater for people with special dietary requirements?
Of course! Please inform us when you make your reservation and we will cater to your dietary requirements throughout your stay.
20. Do you have a shop on Bandos?
We have our boutique plus souvenir shop (Blue Coral Shop) as well as a jewellery shop. You can find necessity items, ideal wear for the stay and Maldivian style items in our Blue Coral Shop.
21. Is it possible to get married on Bandos?
Yes. We offer a ceremony on the beach. Our sunset wedding package includes a wedding in a Maldivian traditional style. Please refer to our Wedding package.
22. Is there a minimum night stay policy at Bandos?
During the Christmas and New Year period, we have a 1 week minimum policy, other than that we don't have a minimum night policy.
23. How do I pay for the hotel when booking directly?
Upon receiving our confirmation mail, a pro forma invoice will be sent for you to pay the advanced deposit. Payment can be made by credit card, telegraphic transfer and bank transfer. We accept AMEX, VISA, MASTERCARD and JCB.
24. Do I have to pay each time I purchase an item or receive a service?
No. You sign for each purchase or service and typically, payment is made when checking out.
