Diving in Maldives

The Maldives has over 200 different species of coral growing in its waters representing 60 genera, and these in turn are home to a thousand varieties of underwater life forms.

The house reef here at Bandos, considered one of the best in North Malé Atoll, will certainly give visitors a glimpse of one the true marvels of the Maldives.

Water temperature:	24°C (75°F) in February and July to 27°C (81°F) in April, May and September
Visibility:	15 - 40 metres (50 - 130 feet)
Type of diving:	Reef, drift diving and wrecks
Marine life:	Hammerheads, grey reef sharks, white tip reef sharks, eagle rays, manta rays, turtles, frogfish, triggerfish, surgeonfish, jacks, trevallies, snappers, napoleon wrasse, barracudas... the list is almost endless!
